Before creating a product feed, we recommend setting up category mapping:
  1. Go to Google Merchant > Category Mapping
  2. Download the Google taxonomy file by selecting the appropriate location (default is pl-PL) and clicking "Download/Update Taxonomy File"
  3. For each WooCommerce category, search and select the appropriate Google category.

  5. Click "Save Mapping" when finished
Info
Google categories are required for most product types in Google Merchant Center. Correct category mapping helps display products in the right places and improves campaign performance.

9. product filtering
In the "Product Filtering" section, specify which products will be included in the channel:

Product categories
Select the WooCommerce categories whose products you want to include in the feed. Leave blank to include all products.

Excluded products
Search and select the specific products you want to exclude from the channel. You can also enter product ID ranges (e.g., 100-200).

Exclusion of unavailable products
Enable this option to automatically exclude products marked as unavailable in WooCommerce.

Consideration of product variants
Enable this option to include all variation products as separate entries in the feed.

10. price options
In the "Pricing options" section, define how prices are presented in the channel:

Price type
  • Gross (including VAT) - Prices including VAT
  • Net (excluding VAT) - Prices excluding VAT
Price filters
You can limit products in a channel based on their price:
  • None (all products) - Include all products regardless of price
  • Only products above the minimum price - Set a minimum price for products in the channel
  • Only products below the maximum price - Set the maximum price of products in the channel
  • Only products in the price range - Set both a minimum and maximum price
Media options
In the "Media Options" section, you can set the maximum number of images for each product (range 1-30).

11. channel generation
After setting up the product feed, you can generate it:

Automatic generation
In the "Channel Generation" section, you can enable automatic channel refresh and select the frequency:
  • Every hour
  • Twice a day
  • Once a day
  • Once a week
Manual generation
Click the "Generate Channel File Now" button in the "Channel URLs" section to immediately generate or update the XML file.

Channel URLs
Once the channel is published, two addresses will be available in the "Channel URLs" section:
  • Channel URL - Address to dynamically generated channel
  • XML file URL - Address to static XML file (updated automatically or manually)
Note
The XML file URL should be specified in the Google Merchant Center panel as the source of products. We recommend using the XML file URL instead of the dynamic feed URL, which improves performance and reliability.

12 Troubleshooting
Products do not appear in the channel
  • Check that the selected product categories are correct
  • Make sure the products are not on the excluded list
  • Check that price filters do not eliminate products
  • If the option to exclude unavailable products is enabled, check the inventory
Incorrect data in the channel
  • Check the field mapping in the "Product Field Mapping" section.
  • Make sure the fields used for mapping (e.g., color, size attributes) exist and contain data
  • Check if the category mapping has been configured correctly
Problems with file generation
  • Check write permissions on the uploads/cc-gmc-feeds directory
  • Make sure the license is active
  • Check the server error logs
